"Go, ill give you some time" Kouta smiled.

Darcy shook her head, "Leaving me again" she smirked

"Not leaving you, giving you the choice whether you want to walk alone or with me" Kouta smiled.

Darcy smiled "Well you decide" she said walking away

Kouta floated behind Darcy, lightly flapping his wings to keep him afloat, bored of walking, "Happy?"

Darcy smiled "Yes, and can you walk please, your reminding me of a shinigami"

Kouta landed, brushing his wing on Darcy, letting her feel it's warmth.

Darcy smiled "That tickled"

Kouta let his wings stay out, being more comfortable, "Oh did it now? you use to always sleep in my wing, back when we had nothing."

Darcy smiled "I was six" she said reminiscing

"From when i took you in, to when you were six," Kouta smiled, He wrabbed his arm around her, wrapping his wing around her after, "You use to lay like this~" Kouta laughed.

Darcy smiled "I remember, I used to nag my mom until you came" she held his hand "Do you want me to share a memory with you"

"Feel free," Kouta smiled, taking her hand.

Darcy thought about the only memory she had.

A young child clung to her mothers dress, she was waiting for someone to come, her long hair fluttered in the snow. A tall black haired boy walked through the snow, walking towards the child. The young girl smiled and let go of her mothers dress and ran to the boy "Kouta-kun" she yelled happily and hugged him around the waist

The older version smiled "I used to think of that memory whenever i was sad and lonely"

Kouta thought of the rest of the memory,

Kouta swooped up the girl, swinging her in the air, before pulling her in to a comfy hug, wrapping his wings around her, sheltering her form the snow, He poked her nose before walking towards her mom.

Darcy smiled and wrapped her arms around him, "You were there all the time, you used to laugh when i laughed, and when i cried, you'd be there"

Kouta smiled, "I... sadly wasnt always the best to you... i've never lived that down" he said sadly.

Darcy pulled back "That doesn't matter, I forgave you" she said laying her head on his chest

"Im talking about what you dont remember... i hurt you many times when you were younger."

Darcy looked into his eyes "I will forgive you when i get my memories back" she placed a hand on his cheek "Because you have done so much for me"

"Very well" Kouta placed his palm on her head, giving her all of the memories they had together,

In the beginning, Kouta use to beat Darcy, to keep her alive, he stayed with her, with the rest of his family, he told them she was only a pet, and he beat her infront of them only. but once he was alone, he cradled her, healing every wound with his demon blood, nursing her to perfect health every night,"

Darcy pulled away, slightly horrified "And that was love?" she thought about the rest of the memory and kissed hi on the lips.

After that, we were discovered, and i had to leave the Family, that night i killed my father to keep you safe. We lived in the slums, i stole to keep you nourished, and my wing gave you shelter.
